Good afternoon and welcome. In this post, we'll be talking about yoga and meditation. When you hear these words, what do you think of ? I, for one, think of calm, serene music and peppermint tea. But what most people will think of is weird hippies chanting and bending themselves in half. This may be true for some, but real yoga and meditation are not like that at all. Yoga and meditation can help you be mindful, focus better, and overall be a very healthy and happy person.
The word "yoga" comes from the Sanskrit root "yuj", meaning "to join" or "to unite". According to Yogic scriptures, the practice of Yoga leads to the union of individual consciousness with that of the Universal Consciousness, indicating a perfect harmony between the mind and body, humans, and nature.

Meditation is a practice where an individual uses a technique – such as mindfulness, or focusing the mind on a particular object, thought, or activity – to train attention and awareness, and achieve a mentally clear and emotionally calm and stable state.

But how can we implement this in our daily lives ?
Good answer as well.
Yoga and meditation help you to stay calm, mindful, and happy. They aren't only an activity, they're a lifestyle.
Every time you are stressed, angry or frustrated, I recommend taking a few breaths and walking away from the situation for a second. If that isn't possible, calmly explain your feelings to the other person.
When you open your eyes in the morning, stretch your muscles and set some goals for the upcoming day.
At night, you can do five minutes of mindfulness by closing your eyes and reviewing your day. Imagine solving all of the problems you had.
All of these suggestions are easy to do and don't take up much time at all.
